Cancellation and Refund Policy
English translation for convenience; the Hebrew version governs. Read the Hebrew version
2. Introduction
This Policy is part of the Terms of Use for the Site and the workshop. It applies to transactions by individual participants who registered on the Site, by phone, or in a fit call. Organizational tracks are governed by the organizational agreement (Section 11). Nothing in this Policy limits any right you have under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, or the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010. If such a right is more favorable to you than this Policy, the statutory right applies.
3. How payment works
To hold a spot, you pay a deposit of 30% of the track price. The balance (70%) must be paid no later than 7 days before the first session. You can also pay the full amount up front. Under the Consumer Protection Law, the deposit is part of the price, not an additional amount. The examples in the table refer to the published prices.
| Track | Price | 30% deposit | Balance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | ₪4,900 | ₪1,470 | ₪3,430 |
| Early bird | ₪5,200 | ₪1,560 | ₪3,640 |
| Recommended Package | ₪5,900 | ₪1,770 | ₪4,130 |
4. Cancellation under a statutory right
In each of the following cases, you have the right to cancel the transaction and get back everything you paid, minus a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower:
- A distance transaction (on the Site, by phone, or on WhatsApp) — within 14 days of the transaction or of the day you received the document with the transaction details, whichever is later. If the workshop is not a “continuing transaction,” you must cancel no later than two days that are not rest days before the first session. If it is a “continuing transaction,” you can cancel within that period even after the service has started, and in that case the pro-rated payment for the service already provided will be deducted (Section 14C(c)(2) and Section 14E(b1) of the Consumer Protection Law). Whether the workshop counts as a continuing transaction is a matter of interpretation.
- A transaction for a class or course made at the place of business or in a face-to-face fit call — within 14 days of the transaction, provided that at least 14 days that are not rest days remain before the first session (Regulation 2(3) of the Cancellation Regulations, and the “classes and courses” item in the schedule to the Regulations).
- A person with a disability, a senior citizen (65 or older), or a new immigrant (as defined by law), whose distance transaction included a conversation with the Operator — within 4 months of the transaction or of receiving the document, whichever is later (Section 14C1(c) of the Consumer Protection Law). The Operator may ask for a document proving eligibility, and nothing more (Section 14C1(d)). If part of the service has already been provided, the pro-rated payment for it will be deducted. It's a good idea to state in your cancellation notice that this right applies to you.
If the charge was made by credit card and the payment processor charged a fee, that fee may also be deducted from the refund, if proven and subject to Regulation 5(b) of the Cancellation Regulations. In any case, the total deductions will not exceed the cap set by law.
5. Early cancellation under the Operator's policy
A cancellation made 14 or more days before the first session, even where no statutory cancellation right applies, entitles you to a full refund minus 5% or ₪100, whichever is lower. This creates one simple rule for every early cancellation.
6. Late cancellation (less than 14 days before the first session, where no statutory cancellation right applies)
In this case, the Participant will choose one of the following options:
- (a) Transferring the spot to a replacement whom the Participant has found and who has had a fit call, at no cost.
- (b) Moving to another cohort that opens within 12 months, at no cost. If no suitable cohort opens within that period, the amount will be refunded under option (c).
- (c) A refund of the amount paid, minus compensation not exceeding the deposit (30% of the price), as an advance estimate of the loss from leaving a spot empty in a small group.
A spot filled from the waiting list. If the spot that opened up is filled by someone from the waiting list, everything you paid will be refunded, minus 5% or ₪100, whichever is lower, even for a late cancellation.
7. Stopping participation after the workshop has started
If you decide to stop participating after the workshop has started, the following rules apply:
- For health reasons, including mental health, or because of a lack of fit that came up during the process (for example, when the Facilitator recommends stopping): the pro-rated portion of the price for the remaining sessions will be refunded, with no additional deduction. We may ask for appropriate confirmation, without requiring details of any diagnosis.
- For any other reason: you can complete the remaining sessions in the next cohort, within 12 months. If that's not possible, the pro-rated portion will be refunded minus 5% or ₪100, whichever is lower.
- Stopping because of a violation of the participation guidelines (Section 12 of the Terms of Use): the pro-rated portion for the remaining sessions will be refunded.
8. Unpaid balance
If the balance hasn't been paid by 7 days before the first session, we'll send you a notice with a 48-hour extension. If the balance is still unpaid when the extension ends, the registration will be canceled, and the rules in Sections 4 through 6 will apply as if you had canceled the transaction when the extension ended. The deposit will not be forfeited automatically. In this case, you can also choose to move to another cohort.
9. Cancellation or postponement by the Operator
Minimum number of participants. If fewer than 6 participants have registered by 10 days before the start, or if the cohort is canceled for any other reason within the Operator's control, we'll let you know right away. Each registrant will choose:
- (a) A full refund of all amounts they paid, with no deduction, within 7 business days. Or
- (b) A move to another cohort on dates of their choice.
If a registrant doesn't choose, they will receive a full refund.
A single canceled session. A session canceled by the Operator will be made up on an alternative date. If a make-up isn't possible, the pro-rated portion will be refunded.
A significant change in dates or location. If the change doesn't work for you, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund for what was not provided. If the change is made before the start, the full amount will be refunded.
10. How to cancel
You can give notice of cancellation in any of the following ways (Section 14I of the Consumer Protection Law):
- On the Site: a “Cancel a Purchase” link displayed prominently on the home page and at the bottom of every page, leading to the cancellation form on this page.
- By email: innerveritas@gmail.com
- By phone: 052-3813813
- By registered mail: 3 Inbar St., Caesarea, Israel
Your cancellation notice must include your full name and Israeli ID number. If you give notice by phone, we may ask for an additional identifying detail agreed on at registration. Confirmation that we received your cancellation notice will be sent by email.
11. Organizational tracks
Cancellation terms for organizational tracks and closed groups are set in the agreement with the organization. We recommend including in the agreement: a graduated cancellation schedule, postponement due to force majeure, and a ban on passing on identifying information about participants. If a participant in an organizational track paid out of pocket, the consumer rights provided by law also apply to them.
12. Timing and method of refunds
Refunds will be made within 7 business days of receiving the cancellation notice, in the case of a cancellation under a statutory right. In other cases, the refund will be made within 14 days. The refund will be made to the same payment method used for the transaction, and for a credit card transaction, the charge will be canceled. At the same time, we'll give you a copy of the charge cancellation notice.
13. “No refund” — a caveat
Any statement in this document or in other materials saying there is no refund, or that the refund is limited, does not apply where the law gives you a right to cancel the transaction and get a refund.
