Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
English translation for convenience; the Hebrew version governs. Read the Hebrew version
1. Purpose of this document
This document brings together the important clarifications about the nature of the workshop, the content on the Site, and the limits of the liability of the Operator (Company No. 513494302). These clarifications are part of the Terms of Use. They do not limit rights that the law gives consumers and that cannot be waived by agreement. A shortened version will also appear on the registration page, the home page, and in the workshop materials.
2. The workshop is not therapy
Journey to Inner Truth is a workshop in learning and personal growth. It is not psychological treatment, psychotherapy, emotional therapy, medical advice, or diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for any of these. The Facilitator is not a licensed psychologist under Israel's Psychologists Law, 5737-1977, and does not present himself as a psychologist. He does not diagnose or treat mental disorders. The workshop questionnaires are tools for feedback and self-awareness. They are not psychological tests and are not used for diagnosis.
If you're in mental-health or medication treatment, don't stop it because of the workshop, and it's a good idea to talk with your provider before taking part. If you're in acute distress, contact Magen David Adom (101), ERAN (1201), or the nearest emergency room right away.
4. No promise of results
The Operator undertakes to deliver the workshop as described, professionally and with reasonable care. The Operator does not promise any specific outcome, such as a change in how you feel, in your relationships, in your career, or in how you make decisions. Results depend on the Participant, their involvement, and their life circumstances. Examples, stories, and testimonials on the Site and in the workshop are for illustration only and do not indicate an expected result.
5. Personal decisions
The decisions a Participant makes in their life following the workshop — for example, about work, relationships, or money — are theirs and their responsibility. For a significant decision, it's a good idea to consult appropriate professionals. This does not release the Operator from liability for misrepresentation or negligence.
6. Limitation of liability
The following provisions apply only to the extent the law allows:
- Bodily injury, intent, and gross negligence. Nothing in this document, the Terms of Use, or any other document releases the Operator from liability for bodily injury, for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or from any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under Section 2(b1) of the Consumer Protection Law and Israel's Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1982.
- Financial loss. For financial loss that is not bodily injury and was not caused intentionally or through gross negligence, the Operator's liability to the Participant is limited to the amount the Participant actually paid for the workshop.
- Indirect damage. The Operator will not be liable for indirect or consequential damage, such as loss of income or loss of opportunity, that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of the transaction, unless it was caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
- The Participant's responsibility. The Participant is responsible for providing accurate information in the health declaration and for following the safety instructions. If they didn't, this may be taken into account in determining liability, in accordance with the law.
- Consumer rights. These provisions do not limit the Participant's rights under the Consumer Protection Law or any other law that cannot be waived by agreement.
7. Insurance
For a workshop held in a rented space, the venue's insurance applies according to the agreement with its owner.
8. Site content
The content on the Site, including articles, explanations, FAQs, and sample exercises, is for general information only. It is not professional, psychological, medical, legal, or financial advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for such advice. The Operator works to keep the content accurate and up to date, but errors are possible. Prices, dates, and terms are binding only as presented at registration and in the transaction confirmation. Links to external websites are provided for convenience only, and the Operator is not responsible for their content.
9. Site availability
The Operator works to keep the Site available and secure, but does not guarantee that it will operate without interruptions or glitches. If a problem with the Site prevented you from completing registration, paying, or canceling, please use the other contact methods listed in the Terms of Use. You can always give notice of cancellation by email, phone, or registered mail as well.
10. Intellectual property
All rights in the workshop and its materials are reserved to the Operator or to whoever has licensed them to the Operator, including: the methodology, presentations, cards, games, questionnaires, worksheets, texts, design, photos, the name “Journey to Inner Truth” (in Hebrew, «מסע אל האמת הפנימית»), the name “Belonging to Myself,” and the logos. These rights are protected under Israel's Copyright Law, 5768-2007, and trademark law.
Permitted use. The Participant may use the materials they received for their personal practice. You may not copy, distribute, sell, or translate the materials, lead workshops or groups based on them, upload them online, or feed them into AI tools to create competing content, except with the Operator's prior written approval. This does not limit fair use under Section 19 of the Copyright Law.
The Participant's rights. A Participant's personal work, such as a journal, values compass, and goals, belongs to them. The Operator will not publish it, or quote from it, without their written consent.
Third-party rights. If workshop material is based on a third party's tool or questionnaire, it will be used according to its license, and the source will be credited.
11. Reporting an infringement of rights
Anyone who believes that content on the Site infringes their rights is asked to contact innerveritas@gmail.com, with full details. The request will be reviewed and handled promptly.
